【玳瑚師父賀語錄】 《人日快樂》
Happy Human Day (English version below)
民間傳說大地之母，女媧，创世時，首六天依次序造出了鸡狗猪羊牛马等动物，而在第七天造了人，故此初七为人的生日。
請大家認認真真地看待這一天。既然是人日，就應該為自己做得不周到、不圓滿的地方好好地反省，希望未來能夠從「人」格，昇上「神」格，再昇上「仙」格，再昇上「佛」格，達到究竟。
祝大家人日快樂、福慧增長。

Folklore has it that Nu Wa, Mother Goddess of Earth, first made the world, She created animals like the chicken, dog, pig, goat, cow, horse etc on the first 6 days in that order. Humans were created on the 7th day, thus the 7th day of the Lunar New Year is the birthday of all mankind.
I hope everyone treat this day seriously. Since today is the birthday of man, you should do a honest self examination on your own inadequacies in behaviors and morals and seek to improve them. Hopefully you will ascend from the human realm to the realm of Deities, then the realm of Immortals, and eventually attain Buddhahood.
